2001
NUSS Professorship Inaugural Lecture by Professor Arthur Ekert on 16 April. NUSS completes Strategic Planning Exercise.

2003
Closure of Orchard Guild House on 10 December. Soft launch of Suntec City Guild House on 15 December.

2004
NUSS celebrates its 50th Anniversary and raises $75,000 for the President's Challenge. Pledges $20 million to the Alumni Complex. Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong officiates the opening of Suntec City Guild House on 6 March. NUSS Professorship Lecture by Emeritus Professor John Habraken – ‘Architecture without Buildings’.

2005
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong delivers the NUSS Lecture on 19 March. NUSS donates $100,000 to establish a $200,000 NUSS Bursary fund for NUS High School.

2006
President S R Nathan launches NUSS’ 50th Anniversary Commemorative book, True Passion: 50 Years and On on 16 January. NUS-NUSS Centennal Golf Challenge establishes a Guinness World Record for the most number of golfers teeing off simultaneously at a one-day event on 19 February. Dr Tony Tan officiates the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Alumni Complex on 8 May. NUSS Pool Closing Ceremony in June. NUSS completes Strategic Planning Exercise.

2007
NUSS embarks on strategic branding exercise with the launch of a new logo. Establishes the NUSS Kent Ridge Fund, in collaboration with NUS, for its fundraising campaign. Signed lease with National Parks Board for Bukit Timah Guild House.

2008
NUSS opens its fourth Guild House at Bukit Timah on 1 December. Completion of Kent Ridge Guild House Phase 1 and soft opening of the new Kent Ridge Guild House on 6 December. NUSS Professorship Lecture by Professor Dr Chandran Kukathas on 11 September.

2009
Official opening of Alumni Complex and NUSS Dialogue with Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew on 20 March. President SR Nathan becomes NUSS Patron at the Official Opening of Bukit Timah Guild House on 24 July. NUSS Professorship Lecture by Professor Sidney Nelson.

2010
Opening of Sports & Recreational facilities at KRGH on 26 June 2010. Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam conferred NUSS Honorary Membership.

2011
Renamed Kent Ridge Guild Hall to Della & Seng Gee Guild Hall on 13 July. Mr Lee Kuan Yew conferred NUSS Honorary Membership.

2012
President Tony Tan became the Patron of NUSS. Mr S R Nathan conferred NUSS Honorary Membership. Closure of Suntec City Guild House on 18 November.
