Cheque Payment
Full Payment: Cheque for $10,800 ($10,000 entrance fee + $100 credit deposit + 7% GST on the full entrance fee) OR
Installment Plan: Cheque for $340 (for applicants within 3 years of obtaining their first degree only).
Cheques are to be made payable to "The National University of Singapore Society", and are non-refundable.

As part of our efforts to improve our level of service, we are extending to you the option of paying your monthly Society bills by GIRO.

Advantages of GIRO
|
- GIRO is convenient; there is no need to write and mail out cheques.
- GIRO saves time and money; your payment will always be prompt, thus avoiding reminder letters and administrative charges.
- GIRO is safe. You can check the deduction from your bank statement.

| Notes on GIRO |
- Your GIRO application is only effective when your monthly statement shows 'The amount payable will be deducted through GIRO.
- Please state your membership number on your GIRO application form in the spaces provided for this purpose.
- The bank will deduct the amount as shown on your statement. Deduction will be made on the 25th of the month or the next working day if it falls on a holiday.
- If you wish to terminate the GIRO permanently, please write to your bank to effect the termination and extend a copy of your letter to the Society for reference.
- Some banks levy a surcharge for unsuccessful deduction for reasons such as insufficient balance in bank account.
- For unsuccessful deduction, you would then have to pay the amount shown on your monthly Society bill by cash/cheque before the 4th of the next month.
- You may arrange for another party to pay your bills by GIRO through his/her bank account. You would need to state your membership on his/her GIRO form.
- Your GIRO application will take about two months to process. Meanwhile, please continue making payment by your usual payment modes.
