Introduction to Android App Development
This course guides participants to develop simple Android apps using Android Studio. At the end of the course, each participant will be able to build, and install on his/her own Android phone, a unique personal app that contains text, graphics and buttons that navigate to various parts of the app.
Course Outline
Learning outcome Participants are able to develop his/her own unique personal App in their Android phone.
Requirements (for participants)● Android phone with at least Android 6.0.1● Laptop running Windows 10 or MacOS 10.11 (Minimum) or any modern Linux variant with desktop environment● Minimum 8Gb ram● SSD (solid state drive) and not HDD (hard disk drive)● Windows need to be able to install apps from outside Microsoft Store, i.e. it should not be running in S mode.
Trainer Profile
Mr Chia Jit San has been developing IOS apps since the launch of App Store in 2008 and has listed his apps (both free and paid). His app 'RunZombieRun' was ranked top 100 in the 'Health & Fitness' category in US and UK stores throughout 2012.
