Giving back $2 million to alma mater

The gift of education is transformative and propels one forward. NUSS Life Member, Mr Kwa Chong Guan and his sister Ms Kwa Kim Hwa donated $2 million to the National University of Singapore (NUS). The gift established the Mabel and Soon Siew Kwa Scholarship Endowed Fund, which will benefit NUS students with financial difficulties and allow them to pursue their university education. NUSS announced the naming of the Mabel and Soon Siew Kwa Swimming Complex in recognition of their generous donation.
