Course Eligibility and Registration

Yes. A person may register for more than one course at a time.

There is no limit to the total number of courses one can register for under the NSA. However, a senior is eligible to receive subsidies for no more than three short courses per calendar year. This helps to ensure a more even distribution of opportunities for seniors to receive subsidies to participate in courses under the NSA.

The courses are mainly targeted at seniors. However persons below the age of 50 are welcomed to register too, but they would not be eligible for the NSA subsidy.

Registration usually opens 2 months before and closes 7 to 10 days prior to the commencement of the course.

We will send you a confirmation email.

Yes. Places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Normally there are no minimum requirements but for some courses a basic knowledge of the subject matter would be helpful. Please refer to our respective course details.

Yes. If the number registered has reached the maximum capacity, you will be placed on the wait list.

They may browse the courses at NSA and NUSS website. Registration will be made via NUSS website.

Participants will be requested to present their NRIC before the commencement of each course.

Payment and Refunds

For NUSS Members, the course fee will be debited to the member’s account. For non-members, payment may be made via cheques payable to “NUSS”.

A refund will be made to any participant who withdraws at least 5 days before the course commencement date.

NUSS will notify the participants on the cancellation of the course and make the necessary refunds.

Apart from the course fee, sometimes participants may have to pay for the course materials. To find out more details, please refer to the respective course details.
