The NUSS Bilingual Toastmasters Club provides a welcoming platform for members to develop communication and leadership skills through Mandarin (main) and English, while fostering a deeper appreciation of language, culture and meaningful connections.
Launched in June 2026, the Club complements the long-established NUSS Toastmasters Club by offering members an additional avenue to strengthen bilingual communication skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
Through prepared speeches, speech evaluations, impromptu speaking sessions and leadership opportunities, members are empowered to build confidence, communicate with greater effectiveness and develop their leadership potential.
Beyond public speaking, the Club incorporates enriching cultural elements that bring language to life. Members can look forward to exploring Chinese storytelling, idioms, etymology, tea appreciation, calligraphy, traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese opera and other facets of Chinese heritage.
Whether you are a working professional seeking to enhance your communication skills, a retiree looking for intellectual and cultural engagement, or someone who embraces lifelong learning, the NUSS Bilingual Toastmasters Club welcomes you.
As part of Toastmasters International, members also become part of a worldwide network of clubs spanning more than 150 countries, with opportunities to connect with fellow Toastmasters throughout Singapore, China, Taiwan and across Asia.

Frequency: Monthly (2nd Thursday of the month)
