Course Outline
No prior bread-making experience? No problem! This course is perfect for beginners and will guide you step-by-step to create your own delicious loaves.
Session 1
- Introduction to bread making using instant yeast. Hands-on session covering soft roll shaping, proofing, and baking.
- Demonstration of sourdough preparation using both machine and hands.
- Sourdough Theory
- Sourdough starter maintenance and requirements.
Session 2
- Hands-on sourdough boule making (hand method).
- Proofing period and sourdough theory review.
- Baking session.
- Cooling and final discussion.
Trainer Profile
Ms Pauline Chan has acquired her skills in cake decorating, cookie art food design through a series of professional qualifiations and personal improvisation. She works with other companies to give public demonstration where she demonstrates the usage of their kitchen appliances and equipment and also showcases her culinary skills
