Dear Fellow Members,

For nearly two decades, it has been my distinct honor to serve my fellow NUSS members. My journey with the Management Committee has spanned periods of great prosperity and, more recently, unprecedented challenge.

When I stepped into the role of President, our Society faced a dual crisis: the financial strain of the Covid-19 pandemic and surging energy costs. These were not easy years. However, by making the necessary, often difficult, strategic decisions, we successfully navigated the storm and returned our financials to the black.

Beyond the balance sheet, my commitment has always been to the spirit of our community—whether through the successful recruitment of 5,000 new members during my time as Membership Chair or supporting the launch of the NUSS Bursary, which raised over $614,000 for students in need.

I am standing for election because I believe that NUSS thrives on a balance of renewal and experienced leadership. I offer you a steady hand, a deep institutional memory, and an unwavering dedication to ensuring our Society remains a premier home for all NUS alumni.
