Message From The Candidate: Message From The Candidate:I have had the privilege of serving on the NUSS Management Committee since April 2020, where I have held the roles of Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson across several Sub-Committees, including Membership, Cultural, Community Care, Sports & Recreational, Intellectual Pursuit, and Alumni Development. This year, I was honoured to receive my 10‑Year Long Service Award with NUSS.

During my tenure, I led the 2024 Membership Drive, which successfully welcomed over 600 new members, while strengthening member engagement and value through initiatives such as the sunset cruise and collaborations with partners including Zeekr, Nike, as well as enhanced privileges with hotels, resorts, and yacht vendors.

In conjunction with NUSS’ 70th Anniversary, I initiated and organised the Plant‑It‑Forward Challenge in January 2024, raising over $70,000 in support of the NUS Enhanced Financial Aid Scheme—a testament to the power of collective action within our community.

I also spearheaded the adoption of Children’s Wishing Well and Dover Park Hospice as part of NUSS’ Community Care efforts, reinforcing our commitment to giving back and creating meaningful social impact.

As Chairperson of the Cultural Sub‑Committee, I drove collaborative efforts across four cultural sections, achieving both local and international recognition while significantly increasing member participation and engagement in cultural activities.
