The introductory course will also allow the participant to understand what is involved at a basic level in playing chord melody as a solo ukulele player. Those who wish to pursue further their ukulele knowledge and fingerstyle playing skill at a higher level, be it professionally as a musician or not, could consider taking up the examinations conducted by the London College of Music or the Victoria College of Music after the course.

- Session 1: The Basics of Ukulele
- Session 2: Chord Formation and Playing Chords
- Session 3: Reading and Playing Rhythm
- Session 4: Learning and Playing Notes on the First String
- Session 5: Learning and Playing Notes on the Second String
- Session 6: Learning and Playing Notes on the Third String & Combining Chords and Notes Playing
Trainer Profile
Dr Lim Thou Tin holds a Grade 5 theory certificate from the Association Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). He has also completed the ukulele exams at both the Victoria College of Music (VCM) and London College of Music (LCM).
Note:
Participants are required to use their own ukulele and tuner.
