Bring your custom Qipao to life using a combination of machine sewing and hand-finishing techniques! This three-day workshop focuses on creating a high-quality, wearable Qipao through a blend of efficient machine stitching and refined hand-sewn details. Participants will sew the specific Qipao style selected by the trainer (either a top or a dress) and learn essential techniques to achieve a polished, handcrafted look.
Course Content
- Fabric preparation and precise cutting for accuracy
- Step-by-step garment assembly using a mix of machine and hand-sewing techniques
- Seam finishing, inserting zippers, and refining edges for durability
- Hand-sewn elements like delicate hems, closures, and decorative details
- Final fitting, minor adjustments, and achieving a professional finish
